Donna Jean Peacock

Donna Jean Peacock, age 75 of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at her home. Donna was a lifelong resident of Duval County, born on November 25, 1948 to the late William and Esther (Miller) McInarnay. In her youth, Donna enjoyed horseback riding, as well as ballet dancing. She graduated from Baldwin High School and went on to Nova University, where she would receive her Masters Degree. She would work as an assistant with the state attorney’s office under Ed Austin and eventually moved on to AT&T American Transtech, working as the director of human resources, dedicating thirty years until her retirement.

In her free time, Donna loved to go camping, cross country trips in the RV, and boating. In her later years, she enjoyed painting and was a member of a quilting club. Above all, Donna loved her animals and her family. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Jerry McInarnay; and her husband: Danny Peacock.

She leaves behind to cherish years of beautiful memories, her children: Larry Daniels of Jacksonville and Lori (Kevin) Dick of Salt Springs; a step-son: Donald Peacock of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Zack Dick, Jessica Dick, and Amanda Gary all of Jacksonville; brothers: William (Lana) McInarnay of Middleburg and Michael (Tammy) McInarnay of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other close family members.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the chapel of Warren Funeral Services, 105 US 90, Baldwin, Florida, 32234. A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held Friday, February, 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Warren Funeral Services with interment to follow at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park.
