Malcom Vincent Stewart

Malcom Vincent Stewart, 69 of Taylor passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at his home.

Malcom was born February 21, 1950 in Lake City to the late Mr. Hubert and Mary (Mcleod) Stewart, one of 4 children.

A graduate of Baker County High School and then Lake City Community College, Mr. Stewart worked in the mental health field and later as a corrections officer at New River Correction Institute, where he eventually retired from.

In his free time, Malcom enjoyed interacting with people, being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was able to enjoy spending three years with his mother in Chiefland prior to her passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother: Craig Stewart; and sisters: Mary Stewart and Karen Stewart.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Mrs. Dianna Price Stewart; son: Christopher Stewart of Taylor; niece: Kari Pass of Chiefland; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Memorialization will be by cremation and final services will be held privately.
