Allen Harris Bourne

Allen Harris Bourne, age 78 of Palm Bay passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Health First Palm Bay Hospital. “Harris” was born on August 13, 1942 to the late Mr. Johnnie and Carolina (Reeves) Bourne in Georgetown, South Carolina. He worked for many years as a professional painter and was dedicated to his work. He was proud of his Native American heritage and collected Indian artifacts. He was also a collector of knives and guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: J.W. Bourne, Frank Bourne, Larry Joe Bourne, and Sharon McCunningham.

He is survived by his beloved wife fifty-seven years: Donna Bourne of Palm Bay; son: John Allen Bourne of Marietta, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Jeffrey Allen Bourne, Zachary Bourne, and Katie Bourne; great-grandchildren: Vincent Allen Bourne and Hunter Allen Bourne; sister: Ernestine Gibson of Andrews, South Carolina; close friend: Lisa Vanier of Palm Bay; as well as other extended family members.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
