Arie Carter Obituary

Ms. Arie "Sissy" Lauramore Carter, age 72, of Macclenny, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Moniac, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtie Johns Crews. She was a homemaker and a very devoted wife and mother whose passion was fishing. She would go fishing and always be home in time to have supper on the table. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her son: R. B. (Karen) Lauramore Jr. of Raiford; daughters: Janice Rhoden of Glen St. Mary and Debbie (Bill) Sirmans of Macclenny; twin brother: Aaron "Buddy" (Judy) Crews of Moniac, GA and Jimmy (Debbie) Crews Sr. of Olustee; sisters: Ophelia Nipper, Geneva Rewis, and Carolyn Velleca all of Macclenny; grandchildren: Sandra C. (Chris) Harvey, Jimbo Green, Jennifer C. ( Nathan) Aldridge, Traci R. (Chris) Mann, Dustin Lauramore, Macy Lauramore, Destiny Lauramore; step grandson: Warren (Danielle) Rhoden; fifteen great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, the father of her children: R.B. Lauramore Sr. and her second husband: Charlie Carter. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church in Sanderson with Reverends David Hodges and Oral Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church.
