Barry (Chitty) Schiller

Barry (Chitty) Schiller, age 77 of Moultrie, Georgia passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center after an extended illness. He was born in Moultrie on December 10, 1945 to the late Mr. David Schiller and Alice Christine (Shiver) Schiller. Barry would go on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force. From there, Barry would make a career on the water, captaining his own shrimp boat. His career was more like a hobby and Barry would spend the majority of his time shrimping and fishing. He also enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: David Schiller and K.B. and Alice Christine Chitty.

He is survived by two children: Christy Schiller and Kris Reddish; siblings: Dennis Chitty of Arizona, Douglas Joey (Gwen) Chitty of Moultrie, Judy (James) Stevens of Moultrie/Panacea, Emily Rowell of Tampa, Debbie (Sam) Logan of Panacea, and Teressa Blanchard of Lakeland; a special niece: Christine Allen; as well as other family and friends.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
