Bernadine Ward Price

Ms. Bernadine Ward Price, 93 of Taylor passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center.

Bernadine was born March 30, 1927 in Apple Farm, West Virginia to the late Mr. A.I. Ward and Ms. Myrtle Vanoy.

Ms. Bernadine attended school to become a licensed practical nurse in the Washington, D.C. area, where she met her husband while he was working for the Central Intelligence Agency. She was eventually employed by the CIA as well, working in inventory logistics. Together, Bernadine and Mr. Raymond traveled the world while working with the CIA, spending time in places like the Philippines and Palestine. Eventually they settled in Jacksonville and later moved to Baker county in the early 1980's. She spent the rest of her years in Taylor with her family. She had a love for animals and raised many cats and poodles over the years. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends she had made over the years.

Ms. Price is preceded in death by her parents, her son in law: Malcom Stewart; and her beloved husband: Mr. Raymond Price.

She is survived by her daughter: Ms. Dianna Stewart of Taylor; son: Michael Ray Price of Taylor; and grandson: Christopher Price Stewart of Taylor.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
