Bessie Louise Martin

Bessie Louise Martin, age 93 of Glen St. Mary passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at her home with family by her side. Bessie was born in Steubenville, Ohio on January 19, 1929 to the late Carl and Leona (Johnson) Call, Sr. Ms. Bessie enjoyed keeping a well organized and maintain home and raising her children. She enjoyed decorating homes over the years, as well as sewing and other arts and crafts. Bessie was also a member of Glen Baptist Church for a number of years. She will be remembered as a dedicated mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Carl Call, Jr.; and children: James Martin and Kathy Louise Martin.

She is survived by her loving daughter: Tanna Blanchard of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren: Charles (Nikki) Blanchard and Thomas Blanchard; great-grandchildren: Valerie Blanchard and Vanessa Blanchard; as well as extended family members.

Funeral services will be held in Steubenville, Ohio under the care and direction of Shorac Funeral Home.
