Beth Dupree (Dupree) Moody

Beth Dupree Moody, age 65 of Jacksonville passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center Downtown. Beth was born on February 20, 1957 in Lakeland to the late Wallace and Dorothy (Thrift) Dupree. Beth was a member of the class of 1975 of Baker County High School and went on to study at Lake City Community College. She would spend the majority of her life in Baker County up until 2004 and relocated to Jacksonville. Beth worked for the State of Florida for seventeen years.

Beth was a diehard Florida Gator football fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids whom she loved dearly. In her spare time, Beth enjoyed photography, owning her own studio, "Reflections by Beth" in Macclenny, as well as beading and making jewelry. She was always willing to help others in need and liked reading her bible. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Larry Dupree; nephew: Kellen Dupree; and a grandson: Jordan Booth.

She is survived by her beloved husband of twenty four years: Micah Moody of Jacksonville; children: Kristina Higginbotham, Kyle Adams, Kaylyn Adams, and Karibeth (Thomas) Adams Ahrens all of Glen St. Mary, and Alexa Booth of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Chelsea Higginbotham, Skyler (Morgan) Higginbotham, Cason Adams, Makaira Adams, Kylie Higginbotham, Daylon Adams, Jada Higginbotham, Aiden Adams, Lincoln Ahrens, Annabeth Ahrens, and Silas Ahrens; a sister: Cayse; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Road to Calvary Church, 7394 Madison Street, Glen St Mary, Florida, 32040. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Road to Calvary with Pastor Tommy Anderson and Bro. Thomas Ahrens officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
