Brenda Canaday

Brenda G. Canaday, age 55 of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Canaday was a retired nurse who worked with geriatrics and disabled children and enjoyed shopping, traveling and hunting. She is survived by her sons: Frank (Kris) Canaday of Macclenny, Rusty Canaday and Wesley (Heather) Canaday both of Baxter; daughter: Cynthia (Michael) Gordon of Baxter; her mother: Joyce Wilson of Macclenny; sisters: Vikki Crosby of Macclenny and Karen Alexander of Titusville. Eight grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Cornerstone Congregational Methodist Church, Macclenny, with Reverend Eddy Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery, Sanderson. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Cornerstone CMC.
