Cheryl Lynn Davis

Heaven gained a special angel on Sunday, September 5, 2021, Cheryl Lynn “Booty” Davis, age 43 of Macclenny left this earthly home and now brightens heavens gate. She was born August 8, 1978 in Gainesville to the late Mr. Leslie and Bonnie (Alford) Davis of Sanderson. She resided in Sanderson until nine years ago when she moved to Macclenny to live with her sister.

To know Cheryl was to love her, she never met a stranger and loved everyone she met. Her love was unconditional, she loved rock hunting and spoiling her many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law: Larry and Angie Davis, brother: Dwight Davis, sister: Linda Davis, nephew: Zac Davis, and great nephew: Luke Crosby.

She is survived by her sister with whom she lived: Diane (Mike) Craig of Macclenny; sister: Marilyn (Kenny) Barnes of Cuyler; brothers: Roger (Melissa) Davis of Cuyler and Allen (Paula) Davis of Sanderson; cousin and special friend: Kim (Allen) Crews of Sanderson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends Friday, September 10, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Dinkins New Congregational Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Allen Crews officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
