Christina Louise Wages

Christina Louise Wages, 48 of Glen St. Mary passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside in Jacksonville. Christina was born April 21, 1972 to the late Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Iva Jean (Walker) Perry in Jacksonville. Mrs. Christina was a proud mother and wife and was dedicated to taking care of her family. She loved to bake cakes and take on craft projects around her home. She enjoyed camping and anything that involved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. She was a member at the First Assembly of God in Macclenny and had a very strong faith in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie Alfred Perry and Iva Jean (Walker) Perry; and two brothers: Charlie Perry and Randy Perry.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 28 years: Mr. Gerald Wages of Glen St. Mary; daughter: Kristina (Sam) Griffis of Glen St. Mary; son: Brandon Wages of Glen St. Mary; granddaughter: Mila Griffis; brother: Michael Perry of Macclenny; sisters: Donna Featherston and Darlene (Buddy) Simpson all of St. George; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service to honor Mrs. Christina’s life will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God in Macclenny with Pastor Joshua Potts officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. She will be laid to rest following services at Macedonia Cemetery.
