Cynthia Lou Anderson

Cynthia Lou Anderson, age 78 of Macclenny passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center South Campus. She was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on January 27, 1944 to the late Elwood and Doris (Evans) Browning. She resided in Baker County for over forty years, minus a return to Hagerstown to take care of her mother. Mrs. Cynthia worked as a beautician in Maryland and also worked for several years at the Northeast Florida State Hospital.

Cynthia enjoyed painting and drawing, as well as fishing. She loved spending her free time with her family, going to the lake, the beach and the ballpark to watch her grandkids play ball. She will be remembered by those her knew best for her easy going, yet sometimes fiery personality.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson: Corey Lauramore.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years: Mr. Albert “Andy” Anderson of Macclenny; children: Chuck (Amanda) Garber and Tia (Scott) Crews all of Macclenny; grandchildren: Caden Lauramore, Madison Garber, Hunter Garber, Dalton Crews, Krista Crews, Brandy Crews, Dillon Crews, Logan Andrews, Megan (Dylan) Gerace, and Caitlin Crawford; great-grandchildren: Valerie and Samuel; brother: Terry Browning of Hagerstown, Maryland; as well as extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Final memorialization will be by cremation.
