Obituary

David W. Beeman, age 78 of Macclenny passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his home. David was born in Moline, Illinois on March 30, 1944 and adopted by Leon and Esther (Buey) Beeman. He would grow up in this area and would eventually attend a local college, as well as go on to proudly serve in the United States Navy.

For the last thirty years, Mr. Beeman had called Northeast Florida his home, working for the Winn Dixie Corporation in the technology field. In his down time, David enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer. He made several friends during his time in Macclenny, but he did enjoy a mostly private life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Milton (Edith) Beeman.

He is survived by his son: Jeffrey (Blanche) Beeman of Logansport, Indiana; grandchildren: Tara Grigsby, Cassie Smith, and Matthew Beeman; and one great-grandson: Luke Smith.

Local memorialization will be by cremation and private family services will be held in Indiana.
