Debbie Lynn Greene

Debbie Lynn Greene, 55 of Land O’ Lakes passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care at Heather Hill. Debbie was born on January 19, 1965 to the late Mr. Edgar Lee and Mrs. Ruth (Porter) Greene, one of three daughters. She eventually moved to the Orlando area where she spent many years, until settling in the Clearwater area where she resided for the last ten years. She worked as finance manager in the automotive industry. In her free time, Debbie was known by all to be the life of the party. She loved to be around people and making others laugh was her favorite thing to do. She aspired to one day do stand up comedy. She enjoyed boating and going on lunch dates with friends. She was an avid reader and a big fan of James Patterson and John Grisham. She was a dedicated mom to her dogs: Gin, Whiskey, and the late Bisquit. She loved all of her family but had an especially close relationship with her niece and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Edgar Greene and her beloved dogs Bisquit, Sydney, and Bailey.

She is survived by her parents Johnny (“Papa”) and Ruth Greene of Spring Creek; sisters: Betty (Steve) Greene Nabors and Brenda Smith all of Tallahassee; niece and nephews: Kaylen Nabors, Tyler Nabors, Lee Smith, and Cris Smith; as well as numerous other family members and close friends she had made over the years.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
