Deborah Lynn Morris

Ms. Deborah Lynn Morris, age 48 of Macclenny passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. She was born in Alachua to Mr. James and Seeleba (Barton) Morris on July 15, 1973. She was a lifelong resident of Baker County and worked for many years in home healthcare. She was a member at Faith Baptist Church. Deborah loved to sing karaoke, always had a smile on her face and was always willing to be a lending hand to others in need. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Ms. Morris also had an interest in art.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; as well as her Godmother: Barbara Thomas.

She is survived by her parents: James “Jim” and Seeleba Morris of Macclenny; brother: Vance Morris of Macclenny; sisters: Andrea Morris of West Virginia and Stormie (Gary) Thomas Faulk of Macclenny; Godfather: Jerry Thomas of Macclenny; nieces and nephews: Cameron Morris, Austin Morris, Anjelena McDaniel, and Jerry McDaniel; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, close cousins and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Manntown Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
