Dewayne Allen Joiner

Dewayne Allen Joiner, age 66 of Macclenny passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Normandy Center for Nursing and Health. Dewayne was born on July 23, 1956 in Lakeland to the late Mr. William and Blanche (Hayes) Joiner. He was an avid Florida Gator fan and enjoyed NASCAR racing as well. Number one in his life however, was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: George Joiner and Ray Joiner.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of thirty-seven years: Mrs. Nyoka “Nikki” Griffith of Macclenny; daughter: Shannon Joiner of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Trenton and Alexa; step-mother who raised him as her own: Brinda Faye Joiner; siblings: Leon (Tammie) Joiner, Dave Reed, Woody (Maricela) Reed, Crystal (Tim) Strickland, Tammy Moody, Dee, Alice, and Robert; a special nephew: Wyatt Griffith; best friend: Willie (Tara) Martin; as well as a host of extended family members.

The family will be receiving friends Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel with Rev. Oral Lyons officiating.

Final memorialization will be by cremation.
