Donovan Parker Obituary
Donovan James Parker, 18 of Bryceville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
Donovan was born on October 31, 2001 in Jacksonville to Mr. Donald and Tammy (Walker) Parker Jr.
A lifelong resident of Bryceville, Donovan was a junior at West Nassau High School. He was part of JROTC his freshman year and had plans to enter into a trade upon graduation.
In his free time, Donovan loved the outdoors. He liked fishing and working on his truck, often losing his dad's tools. He was a bright and outgoing young man who was never met a stranger. He loved life and loved his friends and family most of all.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. Donald and Carolyn Parker Sr., Mr. Lawrence and Frances Walker, and Ms. Marlynn Harvey.
He is survived by his loving parents: Mr. Donald and Tammy Parker Jr. of Bryceville; sister: Ashley (Michael Holland) Parker of Bryceville; grandfather: Tommy Harvey of Glen St. Mary; girlfriend: Hannah Fromknecht of Callahan; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bryceville First Baptist Church.
A funeral service to honor Donovan's life will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Paul Abernathy and Rev. Terry Yerby officiating.
Interment will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Brooker.
