Floyd Gary Bryant, Sr.

Floyd Gary Bryant, Sr. of Glen St. Mary passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at his daughter’s home at the age of 73. Gary was born in Jacksonville on July 29, 1950 and was the son of Mr. Floyd and Blanche (Taylor) Bryant. He would go on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Gary was a jack-of-all trades but was a highly skilled carpenter. He loved to be outside and enjoyed fishing. His favorite pastime was antiquing and going to flea markets. He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville but had spent the last two years in Baker County enjoying life with his daughter and grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind his children: Felicia (Sam) Harvey of Glen St. Mary, Floyd (Jammie) Bryant, Jr. of Jacksonville, and Cheri McNeil of Raiford; a host of grandchildren; as well as multiple siblings.

Memorialization will be by cremation and will be laid to rest in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
