Gavis Annette Solecki

Gavis Annette Solecki, age 77 of Greenville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Margaret Z. Dozier Hospice House. She was born on December 26, 1943 to the late Wilton G. and Rebecca (Simpson) Johnson Sr.  She enjoyed life spending time with family and friends. In her spare time painting, tending to her garden, and crocheting. Most important to her was the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who touched many lives. She will always hold a place in her family’s hearts. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister: Maree Koch, brother: Wilson “Bud” Johnson, and son: Richard Kevin Hunt. 

She is survived by her husband: Peter Solecki; son: Gene (Candice) Hunt; granddaughters: Cyndi (Kameron) Crum, Myndi (Ryan) Qualls, and Sharon (Terry) Hill; great-grandchildren: Makenzee Hill, Landon Qualls, Leland Crum, Logan Qualls, Byron Hill, and Hayden Crum. 

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at Panacea Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
