Glenn Ray Hodges

Glenn Ray Hodges, age 72 of Jacksonville passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital. He was born on March 18, 1949 to the late Mr. Everett Hodges and Ms. Joyce (Starling) Hodges in Macclenny. He would reside and work in Baker County for an extended time. Along with his brother, they operated a flooring installation business for many years. In his spare time, Glenn enjoyed being outside, fishing, and hunting. He loved to be around family and friends and was always making someone laugh. He also had a love for music and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister: Wanda Kay Hodges.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Hodges of Jacksonville; children: Robert Hodges, Michael Ray Hodges, Joyce Williams, and Glenda Naba all of Jacksonville and Amanda Hodges of Macclenny; eleven grandchildren; mother: Joyce S. Hodges of Orange Park; siblings: Donald Hodges of Baldwin, Brenda Farrell of Orange Park, Terri Iverson of Jacksonville, and Carolyn Jackson of Jacksonville; as well as extended family members.

Final memorialization will be by cremation.
