Gloria Elizabeth Perez

Gloria Elizabeth Perez, age 91 of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on December 7, 1929 in Bath, South Carolina to the late Mr. Joseph and Edna Grayce (Thornberg) Woodson but would live the majority of her life in the Jacksonville area. She was an antique collector and dealer for many years, selling her antiques at area shops. She loved to tend to her garden and maintained a beautiful yard up until her last days. She enjoyed a mostly private life but spent it surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Gayle Woodson; son: Robert “Bobby” Perez Jr.; and her lifelong friend: Mr. Robert Perez Sr.

She is survived by her daughters: Sally (Danny) Isom and Annie Carlson both of Jacksonville; son: Joe (Christine) Perez of Jacksonville; ten grandchildren; a multitude of great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family members.

Private graveside services will be held at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens in Jacksonville, where she will be laid to rest with dear family members.
