Harry Wilkinson, Jr., age 68 of Lawtey, an avid hunter, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 in Hamilton County enjoying his favorite pastime. He was born April 20, 1954 in Jacksonville to the late Mr. Harry Wilkinson, Sr. and Mrs. Mary (Norris) Wilkinson. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Local Carpenters Union in Jacksonville for many years.
Harry was an outdoorsman through and through, loving hunting and fishing. He enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends. And he also like tinkering on cars in his down time. He was an attending member of Victory Revival Center in Starke.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother: Troy Wilkinson; and a son: Timmy Wilkinson.
He leaves behind his beloved wife: Gail Wilkinson of Lawtey; children: Erica Eckerd of Springfield, Virginia, Alicia Coon of Crestview, Lisa Evans of Glen St. Mary, Justice (Russell) Dickerson of Jacksonville, and Tracy (Mary) Prevatt of Sanderson; mother: Mary Wilkinson of Lawtey; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings: George Wilkinson and Brenda (Buddy) Jones both of Jacksonville; Sue (Doug) Garris of Hilliard, and Cindy Wilkinson of Lawtey; as well as extended family members and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
