Obituary
James Michael “Mike” Mobley, age 61 of Lanark Village passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his home. Mike was born in Lake City on October 24, 1960 to the late Mr. Alfred Mobley and Mrs. Sylvia (Miller) Mobley. Mike proudly served in the United States Navy. In his free time, he had an interest in antique restoration, painting, and other projects. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. Mike loved to be outdoors and enjoyed watching the stars. He had made his home in Lanark Village for the last few years and loved the friends that he had made there.
He was preceded in death by his father: Alfred Mobley; and a brother: Keith Mobley.
He is survived by his daughter: Madison (Josiah) Barnes of Augusta, Georgia; mother: Sylvia Mobley of Mayo; brothers: Tim (Robert Clark) Mobley of Crawfordville and Danny Moley of Ft. White; sister-in-law: Alice Mobley of Lake City; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
