Jennifer Leigh Chapman

Jennifer Leigh Chapman, age 48 of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center. She was born on December 28, 1972 in Jacksonville to Mr. Ronald and the late Mrs. Julie (Gleaton) Chapman. Her family attended Dunn’s Creek Baptist Church during her upbringing. She attended the University of Florida after graduating high school. She would go on to work for many years in management in the recycling industry, last working for Trademark Metals. In her free time, she loved to spend time with her family and her dog, “Sparkles”. She was also an avid Amazon shopper.

She is preceded in death by her mother and a brother: Greg Byrd.

She is survived by her father: Mr. Ron (Pam Denomme) Chapman of Sunrise; boyfriend: Derrick Hankerson of Jacksonville; a brother: Adam Chapman of St. Augustine; as well as several close friends.

Final memorialization will be by cremation.
