John Gilbert Garcia, age 47 of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020. John was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 30, 1972 to Mr. Juan and Mrs. Nydia (Melendez) Garcia. He resided in Puerto Rico for most of his life before settling in Jacksonville about six years ago.

John is survived by his son, Axis Garcia of Puerto Rico; parents Juan and Nydia Garcia of Jacksonville; sister: Jessica (Tony) Espino; and niece: Gabriella Davila; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.

Memorialization will be by cremation and he will be laid to rest in Puerto Rico.
