John Harris

Mr. John William Harris, age 67 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012. Born in Jacksonville, he was the son of the late Leo and Elizabeth Caldwell Harris. He worked in the pulpwood industry and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and music. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter: Donna Harris of St. George, GA; girlfriend: Elizabeth Plummer of Green Cove Springs; brothers: Wendell Harris of Jacksonville, Alvin (Vickie) Harris of Maxville, and Larry Harris of Clay Hill; sisters: Loretta (Stanley) Bennett of Cuyler and Faye Harris of Maxville; grandsons: William Lee Rosenbaum and Matthew Dylan Rosenbaum; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Harris. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
