Joni M. Raulerson

Joni M. Raulerson, age 65 of Old Town passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Haven Tri-Counties Hospice Care Center in Chiefland following an extended illness. Joni was born in Jacksonville on August 27, 1958 to Mr. Charles “Virgil” Raulerson and Emily “Marion” (Fraser) Raulerson, one of six children. 

Joni worked for many years for the State of Florida. Away from work, she spent time with friends and family, traveling to St. Augustine, Cedar River, and Cedar Key. She enjoyed her time at home as well, working in the yard and loving her fur babies. Joni also treasured her time reading her bible and getting closer with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents.

Joni leaves behind a daughter: Jordan Kirby of Lake City; a son: Blake Kirby of Woodstock, Georgia; three grandchildren; siblings: Glenn (Grace) Raulerson, Berry Raulerson, and Allen (Shellie) Raulerson all of Lake City, Tonya Raulerson of Old Town, and Angel Rabuck of Orlando; as well as other close family members and friends.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Manntown Congregational Holiness Church. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
