Kevin "Nikki" Bruce Davis

Kevin Bruce “Nikki” Davis, age 45 of Whigham, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 14 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. Nikki was born in Gainesville to the late Mr. Virgil Davis and Mrs. Patricia (Harrington) Davis-Hopkins. He was a graduate of Baker County High School and was a linebacker on the Wildcat Football Team. For over twenty years, Nikki worked for the Florida Department of Corrections as a correctional officer, and later as a classification officer.

Nikki enjoyed hunting and collecting guns, as well as being an avid Florida Gator and Seahawks fan. He loved to read and play videos games as well.

He was preceded in death by his father: Virgil Davis; godfather: Billy Godwin; and brothers: Michael Davis and Pete Davis.

He is survived by his mother: Patricia “Gloria” (John) Hopkins of Georgia; girlfriend: Tonya Lawton of Macon, Georgia; siblings: Frank Davis of Macclenny, Judy (Melburn) Bailey and Lisa (Frankie) Key both of Georgia, Marian (Randy) Castleberry, Becky Davis, and Anita Davis all of Macclenny; nieces and nephews: Jonnie Sue (Philip) Evans, Patricia “PJ” Bailey, Sarah (Eddie) Key, Deanna Key, Jennifer (Bobby) Vandenhouten, Devin Bailey, and Akai Key; great-nieces and nephews: Chrissy Vandenhouten, Skylar Evans, Case Vandenhouten, and Hudson Evans; as well as extended family and friends.

The family will be receiving friends Monday, October 23, 2023 at Cedar Creek Church from 5:00 -7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Cedar Creek Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joseph Dube officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
