Lee Andrew Cochran, age 68 of Glen St. Mary passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at UF Shands Hospital of Gainesville. Lee was born on December 12, 1953 to the late Mr. Andrew and Annie (Appleton) Cochran. Mr. Lee worked as a skilled mechanic for many years. In his time away from work, you could most always find Lee fishing, frequently area lakes such as Newnans Lake or Lake Butler. He and his wife also enjoyed scapping metal in their downtime.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Sidney Cochran.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Mrs. Tammy (Creekmore) Cochran of Glen St. Mary; children: Mark (Jessica) Creekmore of St. George, Jeremy Creekmore of St. Augustine, and Natasha (Derrick) Edwards of Gainesville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings: Roger Cochran, Jimmy Cochran, Rosa Dillon, Annette Thieme, and Cheryl Trimm; as well as extended family members.
A Gathering of Friends will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home to celebrate Lee’s life.
