Louis Andrew Rocco, III

Louis Andrew “Rocky” Rocco, III passed away August 23, 2022.  Rocky was born on July 29, 1945, in Tallahassee, FL to L.A. Rocco, Jr., and Peggy Hartsfield Rocco.

Rocky is survived by his three daughters, Kris Rocco (April), Cathie Burk (Rod), Carrie Hurley; one son, Jay Garrett; three grandsons, Andrew Burk (fiancé Alexandra Wofford), Connor Burk, Graham Burk; one special granddaughter, Riley Hurley; brothers Mike Rocco (Terry), Ollie Rocco (Debbie); sisters Toni Schenck, Josephine Diehl (Lyle).  Also left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, stepson James “Woolley” Sanders, first wife and mother of his children, Pam Rocco.

In addition to his parents, and brother-in-law Joe Schenck, he was predeceased by his wife Laura Council Rocco.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.

No funeral will be scheduled. At his request, a celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date, at which time we will scatter his ashes into the sea.  It was his wish to be scattered for mullet food as they had fed him all his life.
