Maggie Kay Lawson

Maggie Kay Lawson of Macclenny, passed away on the morning of Monday, September 25, 2023 at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital at the age of 55.

Born on November 24, 1967, Maggie was the daughter of the late Mr. Clyde Lawson and Ms. Madeline Ziarek. She would work in the construction industry for a number of years. Maggie enjoyed spending her free time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved to spend time watching the news and keeping up with politics, as well as her favorite television program, “Bunk’d”.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a sister: Joyce Mary Auger.

She leaves behind her mother: Madeline Carroll of Macclenny; siblings: Michael Bruckner of Colorado, Janet Lawson of Baldwin, and Danny Lawson of Macclenny; niece and nephew: Jacklyn (Steven) Merrell and Nathaniel Bruckner; great-nieces and nephews: Layla, Leona, Jasmine, Wiley, Tracin, Brayden, Emely, and Bubba.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin at a later date. Final memorialization will be by cremation.
