Obituary
Marcell “Marc” Maurice Talbert, II, age 49 of Jacksonville passed from this life Thursday, June 22, 2023. Marc was born on July 3, 1973 in Lafayette, Indiana to Mr. Marcell Talbert, Sr. and the late Mrs. Sheila (Ballenger) Shore.
Marc was a man who enjoyed the beauty of life. He loved art and music. He was a skilled landscape artist and enjoyed beautifying yards. In his spare time, he liked tattooing at home. He was also a movie buff, always looking for the next great film. While on the job, Marc would always save baby birds, squirrels and other animals and nurse them to health for a safe release back into the wild. He will be remembered for his big heart.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He leaves behind his children: Alexandra “Lexi” (Brandon Slinkard) Talbert and Darren “Tyler” (Lainie) McCauley both of Jacksonville; grandson: Levi Slinkard; father: “Mark” Talbert, Sr.; sister: Krystal Watkins of Jacksonville; nephews: Jacob Duncan and Nicholas Duncan both of Jacksonville; uncles: Brent Demierre of Green Cove Springs and Rex Ballenger of Clearwater; as well as other extended family members.
A Celebration of Life has been planned for a later date.
