Mary Ann Taylor, age 79, a longtime Panacea resident, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her home with family by her side. Born in Carrabelle on June 15, 1944, she was the daughter of Mr. Tommy and Dorothy (Putnal) Phillips. She worked in hospitality for many years.
In her spare time, Mary Ann loved traveling and reading. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the races in Daytona. She was an avid FSU football fan as well. Most important to her, however, was her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter: Rachel Taylor; a son: Ronald Taylor; and her beloved husband, Robert Taylor.
She leaves behind her sons: Robbie (Melinda) Taylor of Panacea and Randall (Libby) Taylor of Crawfordville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother: Tribue Hawkins of Crawfordville; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Panacea Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the cemetery.
