Maxie Jerome “Jerry” Rhoden, age 61, of Kissimmee and a Baker County native, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Bud and Donna Somers Hospice House in Sebring. Jerry was born in October 16, 1962 to the late Maxie Ray and Phillippie Iris (Combs) Rhoden. Jerry was a graduate of Baker County High School and spent a good majority of his life here but was a traveler.
Jerry enjoyed being around family and friends. He loved to work in the yard, tend to plants, barbecuing, and spend time sitting by a fire.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son: Jeremy (Shannon) Rhoden of Macclenny; one grandson: Cooper; siblings: Dwight (Myra) Rhoden of Tallahassee, Kathy Farrar of Appomattox, Virginia, and Janice Crews of Macclenny; as well as extended family members and friends.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
