Milford Trosclair, Sr.

Milford “Mike” Trosclair, Sr., age of 79 of Macclenny passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Ed Fraser’s Memorial Hospital. Mike was born on March 16, 1942 to the late Mr. Paul and Eunice (Hargrove) Trosclair in Kaplan, Louisiana. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mike worked for many years as an installer in telecommunications in while living in the Lake Charles area. Since moving to Macclenny six years ago, Mr. Trosclair and his family had enjoyed attending at Community Full Gospel Church. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed fishing and he hunted in his younger years. He also enjoyed woodworking in his free time. Most important to Mike was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Luke Trosclair, Larcy Trosclair, Wilford Trosclair, Paul Trosclair, Jr., Lillian Moody, and Teresa Trosclair. 

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty nine years: Mrs. Georgette Trosclair of  Macclenny; children: Milford Trosclair, Jr. of Sulphur, Louisiana, Rhonda (Kevin) Hebert of York, South Carolina, Pamela (Kevin) Bernard of Jacksonville, and Trina Trosclair of Spring, Texas; grandchildren: Alexis (Chase) Kohlenberg, Anna Trosclair, Christopher Trosclair, Mikayla Trosclair, Rikku Trosclair, Brent Andrus, Tivis (Brian) Angelo, Tyler Hebert, Joshua (Brandy) Gobert, Amber Corpuz, Koury Gobert, Ashley (RJ) Steele, and Heather (Justin) Dyer; great grandchildren: Hudson Kohlenberg, Alaia Trosclair, Braeden Andrus, Cade Angelo, Rowan Angelo, Lukas Gobert, Emma Steele, Tripp Steele, Jason Dyer, Kaitlyn Dyer, and Jayden Dyer; sister: Lucille Rahm; as well as extended members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Community Full Gospel Church with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
