Patricia Lindsey

Patricia Ann Goff Barber Lind­­sey, 80, a long time resident of Glen St. Mary, died April 23, 2011. She was born November 1, 1930 in Jacksonville and retired from the federal government after 30 years of service. Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 35 years, Curtis H. Lindsey; son Stanton R. Barber; step-son Charles Lindsey; step-daughters Patti Lindsey and Peggy Burton; grandson Sammy Nobles. Survivors include her daughter Beverly Gainey; son Bruce Barber; daughter-in-law Pat Bar­­­­ber; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at 11:30 am April 26 at the First Baptist Church of Glen St. Mary with Rev. Randy Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gideons or a favorite charity. Forbes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
