Phyllis Marie Thomsen

Phyllis Marie Thomsen, age 64 of Old Town passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville. She was born on March 31, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Mr. Charles Stewart and Mrs. Mildred (Gobel) Stewart. She work would for many years in housekeeping, but her first job and priority was being a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. In her spare time, Mrs. Phyllis enjoyed crocheting and the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Charles Stewart.

She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Mr. Gary Thomsen, Sr. of Old Town; children: Gary Thomsen Jr. of Arkansas, Zak (Delcena) Thomsen of Old Town, Joshua Thomsen of Washington, and Jada (Doug) Yarbrough of Bella Vista, Arkansas; mother: Mildred Stewart of Aitkin, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Elaine Ryder of Minnesota and Chris Miller of Clearwater; as well as numerous extended family members.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
