Rae Marie Thompson

Rae Marie Thompson, age 70 of Baldwin passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at UF Health Hospital Jacksonville. Born in Berwick, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1954, Rae was the daughter of Samuel and Melva (Hacker) Johnson. Rae would graduate from Hamilton High School West in Trenton, New Jersey and go on to join the United States Marine Corp. After an honorable discharge, Rae would spend periods of her life in Florida and North Carolina. She worked until her retirement with the department of corrections.

Rae was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and enjoyed spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her daughter, Rebecca Ervin.

She is survived by her son, Jason Green of Keystone Heights, grandchildren, Bryan, Ellyssa, and Kenneth “KJ”, siblings, David (Shannon) Johnson of Havelock, North Carolina and Cynthia (Bill) Dean of Pennsville, New Jersey, and her son-in-law: Kyle Ervin of Baldwin.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
