Rebecca Lynn Ervin

Rebecca Lynn Ervin, age 39 of Baldwin went on to her heavenly home Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Community Hospice at UF Shands of Jacksonville. Rebecca was born in Trenton, New Jersey on October 8, 1982 to Mr. John Ocker and Mrs. Rae Johnson. Rebecca was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter and friend. She had made Baldwin her home for the last twelve years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Baldwin. She enjoyed cooking for her church family, volunteering at her kids schools, and was always caring for others. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone she met. Most of all she will be missed and remembered as a loving mother and wife.

She is survived by her husband of nine years: Kyle Ervin of Baldwin; children: Bryan Martens, Ellyssa Ervin and Kenneth Ervin; parents: John Ocker of New Jersey and Rae Johnson of Baldwin; father and mother-in-love: Harry and Judy Ervin of Baldwin; as well as a grand host of friends, family, and church family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Drum officiating.  Memorialization will be by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pinky Promise Foundation, PO Box 1934, Callahan, Florida 32011 in memory of Rebecca.
