Rebecca Ann Manning

Rebecca Ann Manning, age 62 of Middleburg passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at her home after an extended illness. Rebecca was born in Iredell County, North Carolina on November 26, 1960 to Mr. Arthur Sowers and the late Annie Sue Upright. Ms. Manning would go on to work as a dental assistant for over thirty-five years. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoyed being outside, gardening and working in the yard. She also loved camping and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her mother; siblings: Bo Sowers and Sandra Mcinnis; and her husband: Timothy Manning.

She is survived by her son: Chris (Heather) Beaver of Sanderson; stepdaughter: Sumer (Ashley) Smith of St. Augustine; grandchildren: Dylan Manning, Cassidi Beaver, Brianna Smith, and Gavin Smith; one great-grandson: Kole Manning;  her father: Arthur Sowers of Brooksville; her boyfriend: James Ayres of Middleburg; siblings: Eugene Sowers, Chris Sowers, Jamie Sowers, Henry Sowers, Jondie Sowers, and Misty Sowers all of Brooksville area; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home with Chaplain Terry Yerby officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:30 PM.
