Regina Diane Leggett

Ms. Regina Diane Leggett, 62 of Yulee passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at UF Health North. Ms. Diane was born March 13, 1958 to the late Mr. Samuel McKinnon Sr. and Mrs. Doris (Laughter) McKinnon. She spent the majority of her life in Yulee and worked many years as waitress. In her free time, Diane enjoyed traveling and loved arts and crafts and making flower arrangements for family and friends. She will be remembered as a very giving and caring woman, who was a friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her father; her brothers: George McKinnon and Kenneth McKinnon; a step-brother: Michael Koon; as well as her beloved husband: Tobe Leggett.

She is survived by her mother: Doris (Lewis) Koon of Glen St. Mary; daughter: Hilary Lindsay of Inverness; grandson: Peyton Lindsay of Inverness; brothers: Samuel (Theresa) McKinnon Jr. of Kingsland, Tim (Lesia) McKinnon of Glen St. Mary, and James (Ann) McKinnon of Yulee; sister: Linda Sue Roy of Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a celebration of Diane’s life on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Macclenny.
