Robert Gerald “Robbie” Rhoden, Jr., age 56 of Macclenny passed away Saturday morning, February 10, 2024 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Robbie was born on July 19, 1967 in Fort Benning, Georgia, the son of the late Robert Rhoden, Sr. and Shirley (Harris) Rhoden Beverly. Robbie spent his entire life in Baker County and was a skilled carpenter. He loved to be around family and friends, enjoyed the peacefulness of nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Robbie was a selfless man with a giving heart and was always willing to help others in need.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley (Glen) Beverly of Macclenny; step-siblings: Buck (Jennifer) Beverly, Carrie Beverly, and Erin (Gary) Reneau; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home. A Celebration of Robbie’s life will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
