Robert Williamson

Robert (Robbie) Glenn Williamson, 56, of Macclenny, Florida was called home to his Heavenly Father on February 2, 2012 following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Baker County, which he claimed was "a special place filled with special people". Robbie enjoyed helping people which was evident by his various professions. Starting in law enforcement with the Baker County Sheriff's Office, the Macclenny Police Department, the Jacksonville International Airport and ending as an administrative assistant with Baker Community Counseling Services. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn F. Williamson. He is survived by his devoted mother, Estelle B. Williamson; brothers: Ryan B. Williamson and Andrew B. Williamson; sisters: Sheryl R. Williamson, Cynthia D. Pearce and Sheila M. Griffis, all of Macclenny. Ten nieces and nephews, six grand nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 1:30pm at the First Baptist Church of Macclenny with Reverend Mitch Rhoden officiating.
