Obituary
Sally Virginia (Reid) Rollins, age 92 of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at home with her family by her side. Sally was born in Lawtey on August 11, 1929 to the late Mr. Dan and Mattie (Abstance) Reid. Ms. Sally spent time in the service industry for many years, working as a bartender at Jimmy’s Bar in Orlando most notably. She was a dedicated worker and was known by close friends and family for her “fiery” personality.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Mack Reid and Martha Griffis; daughter: Andrea Harper; and an infant son: Ronnie Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter: Kathy Kirkland of Jacksonville; brother: Dan Reid; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins in the Baker County area.
Private graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.
