Sharon Yvonne Jackson

Sharon Yvonne Duval Jackson, 65 of Jacksonville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Duval County, born on September 13, 1958 to the late JD Canter and Gladys (Duval) Canter. For many years, Sharon was the owner and operator of a tree trimming service. She enjoyed spending her time away from work with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Joey Canter and Tracy Motes, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Canter, her husband, James “Jimmy” Jackson, and a son, David Jackson.

She is survived by her son, Michael Jackson of Jacksonville, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two brother, James Canter of Toccoa, Georgia and Jack Canter of Jacksonville.

Final memorialization will be by cremation.
