Sharon Stevens Obituary

Sharon Alice Stevens, 70, of Lanark Village, Florida passed away on October 2, 2020 after a four week battle with her cancer returning for the 2nd time. She was born on September 12th, 1950 in Binghamton, New York. She moved to South Florida when she got married and lived in different areas including Lakeland for several years then she moved to Lanark Village. She was a Christian and would say, “Stay strong in your faith, by continuing to believe and trust in God!”.

Sharon was always showing her family and friends how beautiful and loving she truly was. She was there to help them and support them in any way she could. She believed in Jesus and that one day she would get to go to her heavenly home. Heaven has definitely gained another beautiful angel and she’s with her Mom, Dad, and family that passed before her. Her beauty, smile, laughter, advice and unconditional love will be missed most. Sharon was an amazing and loved wife, mom, nana and friend! She will truly be missed and in our hearts forever but we are happy she is in heaven and at peace now, in God’s loving arms.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Stevens, who said, “My heart is in heaven with her, I loved her so much.” Her children, Paul (Michelle) and Janice. Her grandkids, Michael, Haylee, Hayden, Tiffany, Isaiah, and Becca. Her sisters, Mary (Ken), Jane (Ray), Linda, Sue and her brother, Fred (Donna; sister-in-law, Sherry (Vern) and brother-in-laws, Tim and Jerry. She is preceded in death by her dad, Lawrence Gregory, her mom, Mildred Gregory, mother-in-law, Bernice Stevens and sister-in-law, Joan.

There will be no services held. Thank you to everyone for understanding Sharon’s wishes. May each of you be blessed!
