Shirley Haddad

Ms. Shirley Ann Haddad, 59, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, after a very well fought battle with cancer. Shirley was a native of Jackson, Mississippi but lived most of her life in Pensacola, FL until moving to Gainesville in 1997, to live closer to her sister Linda. Shirley was a valued employee of Ward's Supermarket where she worked for over eight years before her illness prevented her from continuing her employment. Everyone who knew Shirley loved her and was touched by her kindness. She is survived by her sister; Linda Haddad, brother; Pete (Janet) Haddad, sister-in-law; Lucy Haddad, niece; Michelle Fox, nephews; Paul Helms and Ellis Haddad, and numerous other family members also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Mausoleum chapel of Forest Meadows Cemetery Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum chapel. Flowers can be delivered to the cemetery Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.
