Obituary
Susan Carol Hodges, age 65 of Macclenny passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at Community Hospice Center at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital. Born in Lake City on October 24, 1956 to the late AJ and Vadie (Crews) Hodges, Susan was a Baker County resident for nearly her whole life.
She loved the outdoors, working in her yard, and horses. She loved spending time with her husband and will be remembered as a treasured friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of seventeen years: Mr. James “Jim” Porter of Macclenny; children: Beau (Alyssa) Stephenson of Taylor, Christopher Hodges of Macclenny, and Alva (Steven) Cichowski of Melrose; grandchildren: Bryanna Stephenson, Joshua Strawder, Zach Strawder, Emma Cichowski, and Johnathan Hodges; five great-grandchildren; brothers: Jack McKinney of Glen St. Mary, Mark Hodges of South Carolina, Leroy Rewis, and Terry Starling of Macclenny; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
