Teresa Diane Lipsey

Teresa Diane Lipsey, age 55 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Ascension’s St. Vincent’s Clay County. She was born September 3, 1965 to the late Mr. Edward and Glenda (Delk) Lipsey in Tifton, Georgia. She attended nursing school at Florida Community College at Jacksonville (presently FSCJ) and received her registered nursing license. She was passionate about her work, tending to patients for over thirty years at St. Vincent’s, as well as for Community Hospice. She loved to entertain and throw parties, cooking for family and friends. She was a devoted mother and was always the class and team mom. Later in life, she became a grandmother, and she treasured the time she got to spend with her grandkids. In her spare time, Teresa enjoyed shopping and watching old movies and television programs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Donnie Lipsey.

She is survived by her daughters: Holly (Wayne) Griffis and Melissa (Austin) Williams all of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren: Kyndall Griffis, Conner Griffis, and Presley Williams; her husband of twenty-eight years and the father of her children: James Browning; sisters: Kimberly Lipsey Asbell of Keystone Heights and Denise Lipsey of Jacksonville; niece: Kirsten Asbell; as well as other extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville.
