Thomas Mixon

Thomas Joshua Mixon, 77, of Sanderson, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012. He was born in Baxter, Florida to the late Thomas and Gracie Anderson Mixon. He was a member of Lenox Avenue Church of God. Mr. Mixon was a retired truckdriver with Interstate Bakery. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Betty Mixon; sons: Mickey (Rainie) Mixon, Darvin (Deneese) Mixon, Ray (Jennifer) Mixon; daughters: Debbie (R.D.) Padgett, Lanette (Buddy) Goodin, Kathy Mixon, Kimberly (Shawn) Davies, Lisa (Hughey) Cook, Kristina Kirkland, and Margaret Mixon; brother: Joe E. Mixon; sisters: Virginia FontainSantago and Jean Singletary; twenty one grandchildren, twenty two great granchildren, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Paul Noles. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Baldwin Church of God, 662 Yellow Water Road, Baldwin, Florida with Reverend Clyde Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Florida. The family will receive friends at the Baldwin Church of God from 6:00pm-8:00pm Monday, January 23, 2012.
